SAM COO Paulina van Eeden Hill, CAE, Begins Term as Chair of the Texas Society of Association Executives (TSAE)

Paulina van Eeden Hill, CAE, Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Strategic Association Management (SAM), has been installed as Chair of the Texas Society of Association Executives (TSAE) Board and will serve as the chief elected officer for the coming year.

The TSAE Board, comprised of 19 volunteer members, focuses on strategic planning and evaluation for TSAE, a statewide trade association supporting association professionals. Paulina has served on the board since 2021 and was elected last year to serve a three-year progressive Chair term (2023–2024 Chair-Elect, 2024–2025 Chair and 2025–2026 Immediate Past Chair).

Her dedication to TSAE reflects her commitment to and passion for the power of associations,” said JJ Colburn, CAE, co-CEO at Strategic Association Management. “Paulina’s service also demonstrates SAM’s dedicated support of TSAE and continues our history of active engagement and leadership roles with this special community.”

As Chief Operating Officer at SAM, Paulina oversees day-to-day operations, drives strategic initiatives and ensures alignment with SAM’s goals and objectives. She also serves as the executive director of the Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented (TAGT), a SAM association partner since 2018.

In her role as TSAE Chair, Paulina will lead the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. She will preside over the annual meeting, serve as an ex-officio committee member and collaborate with the board to appoint members to standing committees and task forces. Additionally, she will provide strategic leadership on various TSAE initiatives.
