SAM Selected as Staffing Solution for Texas Nursing Home Coalition (TNHC)

Strategic Association Management (SAM) was recently selected as the association management company and staffing solution for the Texas Nursing Home Coalition (TNHC), a provider-led coalition representing Texas long-term care and post-acute providers.

TNHC is the unified voice of more than 850 nursing homes serving approximately 60,000 long-term care residents across Texas. The coalition gives nursing home providers a focused, solutions-oriented voice at a critical time for care delivery, funding, regulation and quality improvement. Formerly known as The Coalition, TNHC’s founding members helped secure the largest Medicaid funding increases for the care of Texas nursing home residents in a decade, and TNHC continues advancing policy improvements that strengthen the long-term care industry, support providers and enhance resident care statewide.

“SAM is thrilled to partner with TNHC and support its important work on behalf of Texas nursing home providers,” Megan Woodburn, CAE, SAM Founder and CEO, said. “We are excited to bring our expertise in association management to support TNHC’s work to strengthen the long-term care industry, support providers and advance resident care across Texas.”

“TNHC has grown significantly in both membership and impact, and this partnership gives us the infrastructure and expertise to support that continued growth,” Eddie Parades, TNHC Executive Director, said. “SAM’s association management experience will strengthen how we serve and communicate with members while allowing TNHC leadership to remain focused on advocacy, policy and advancing the priorities of Texas nursing home providers.”

SAM will deliver a range of services, including membership, meetings, administrative and communications management. SAM Account Executive Devorah Jakubowsky, CAE, will lead the internal staff team, providing strategic and operational support to TNHC’s leadership.
