Shelley Livaudais serves as a Communications Manager with SAM, where she develops branding and communications strategies for partner organizations. She has more than 20 years of communication, editorial, and design experience in education and the nonprofit world. Shelley began her career in public school education as an English teacher and speech and debate director, and has since focused her efforts on helping organizations identify and speak to their audiences, build their brands and membership bases, and create some beautiful things along the way.

Shelley lived in several states growing up and loves exploring news places, but for the last 30 years has lived in Austin, where she earned her degree in English at the University of Texas. In addition to being an educator, her past experience includes campaign websites, communications, editing, and design for both print and digital media.
