Donna Harbers, CMP

Program Coordinator

Donna Harbers, CMP, serves as a Program Coordinator at SAM, where she provides administrative support for a variety of partner programs and services. She joined SAM in 2025 with more than two decades of experience in association management and a strong background in education and event planning.

Prior to SAM, Donna spent 18 years at the Texas Apartment Association (TAA), ultimately serving as vice president of education. In that role, she led all education programming, including sessions at the annual conference, board meetings, and executive retreats. During her tenure, she developed a call for presentations process that generated 200-plus submissions, tripled the number of education sessions from 2007 to 2023, and helped educate more than 20,000 members through webinars during the COVID-19 pandemic. Previously, she also served as associate executive director of the Texas Association of Assessing Officers (TAAO), where she focused on membership growth, chapter relations, committee liaison work, and designation program administration.

Donna is a longtime volunteer leader with the Meeting Professionals International Texas Hill Country Chapter (MPI THCC), where she has served in numerous roles, including chapter president twice (in 2008 and 2025), and she was named Planner of the Year in 2016.

In addition to her work at SAM, Donna makes and sells handmade polymer clay jewelry and hosts creativity workshops. She lives in Pflugerville with her dog Millie and enjoys spending free time with friends and pursuing creative projects.
