Donna Randall

Programs Coordinator

Donna Randall serves as a Programs Coordinator at SAM, where she provides administrative support for client programs and services. Her past experience in the association space, as well as her passion for service, have proven invaluable in her role at SAM.

Donna's past experience includes serving as administrative assistant for the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association (TOMA), with a focus on membership management and the TOMA educational credits program. Prior to her association experience, she was the office manager of a legal recruiting firm and an attorney relations assistant at a large law firm in Philadelphia.

Donna graduated Magna Cum Laude from Shepherd University with a bachelor's degree in communications, and she is working toward her CAE (Certified Association Executive) certification.

She was born in Maryland but has lived in more than seven states, with her second stint in Austin beginning in April of 2021.

Partners: Texas Chapter of American College of Cardiology (TCACC), Texas Osteopathic Medical Association (TOMA)

Family: My older sister, niece, nephew, and my closest friends.

Outside of work, I love... playing ukulele and singing. I also love attending live music, burlesque, and drag shows. Other than that, I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and whatever type of crafting I'm into at the moment.

My workplace superpower is... adaptability.

Assessments: Adapter (Predictive Index), INFP (Myers Briggs)

What inspires me about working with associations: I enjoy interacting with association members and helping them grow professionally and navigate the challenges they encounter within their professions. It's also an interesting way for me to learn about different professions and organizations.

My passions and skills: I truly enjoying helping people—making them feel like they're heard, seen, and valued.

Favorite SAM core value: Practice empathy. I believe in treating others with the kindness, respect, and understanding that I would want.
