Strategic Association Management (SAM) Announces Four New Partnerships
SAM selected as staffing solution for four reputable associations
Strategic Association Management (SAM) was recently selected as the association management company and staffing solution for four new partners:
- Texas Osteopathic Medical Association (TOMA)
- Engineering and Construction Contracting (ECC) Association
- U.S. National Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM-US)
- Texas Chapter of the American College of Cardiology (TCACC)
These new partnerships demonstrate the breadth of SAM's experience in serving a variety of industries and further position SAM as a leader in providing full-service operational and program management for professional associations and nonprofit organizations.

About SAM’s New Partners
- Texas Osteopathic Medical Association (TOMA) is the oldest statewide osteopathic medical association in the U.S., which began in 1900 and serves over 1,400 physicians and trainees across Texas. The association is dedicated to improving public health while elevating and maintaining the high standards of osteopathy in medicine, surgery and obstetrics. SAM Account Executive Steve Durham will serve as the association’s executive director, providing strategic guidance to the volunteer board and leading the internal staff team.
- Engineering and Construction Contracting (ECC) Association is 50-year-old association that brings together leaders in the engineering and construction management industry. ECC aims to drive excellence and the long-term success of the industry through networking, innovation and outreach. SAM Founder & co-CEO Megan Woodburn, CAE, will lead the internal staff team to provide operational and strategic support to the association.
- U.S. National Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM-US) is part of a worldwide network of over 45,000 museum professionals across 123 countries. The association provides knowledge and networking opportunities through nationwide conferences, meetings and workshops. SAM Account Director Tiffany Ritter, CFRE, will oversee the staff team managing day-to-day operations and supporting board-led initiatives, membership development and programming.

Texas Chapter of the American College of Cardiology (TCACC) is dedicated to advancing the field of cardiology in Texas, fostering collaboration among professionals and promoting cardiovascular care. The organization maintains standards of social consciousness, involvement with socioeconomic factors and access to the highest possible quality of cardiovascular health care. SAM Account Executive Shari Noonan, CAE, CMP, will serve as the association’s executive director, providing strategic guidance to the volunteer board and leading the internal staff team.
